When announcing the winners of the student council elections, one faculty seat was mistakenly given to the wrong person, a source who wishes to remain anonymous relayed to Ad Valvas.
The results, announced per megaphone this evening, were withdrawn roughly 45 minutes later because of this error. This most likely means that a person who was told they won will lose their seat.
The correct results will be released tomorrow at an undetermined time. The story was confirmed by the current chair of the USR, Joep van Dijk. He says that there are only losers in this “very bad situation”.
