After a busy academic year in which the future of Earth Sciences was on the line, VU for Palestine continued their protests, the student council elections were marred by controversy, and looming budget cuts hung over the campus like a dark cloud, the VU community is now enjoying a well-earned vacation. The Ad Valvas editorial team is also taking a little break.
We’ll be back on 20 August with a new magazine featuring students spilling the beans on their terrible roommates, a tour of the ‘woke’ spots on campus, an exploration of how introverted students manage in education, and tips on how to prevent or cure a hangover. Starting 29 August, will pick up our weekly newsletter again, keeping you updated on everything happening at VU and in higher education.
Should major news break in the meantime, we’ll write about it here, on our website.
